  1. MAIN Command E - Enter Messages
  2.  
  3. This command gives you the power to transform your thoughts into electronic
  4. messages.
  5.  
  6. You will be asked to whom you want to send the message to when you select
  7. the "E" command.  Enter "A" if you want to address the message to all
  8. users, or "S" to send the message to the Sysop.  You can also address the
  9. message to an individual or group (e.g., "John Doe" or "all wordstar
  10. users").  If the addressee is not recognized by RBBS-PC, you will be given
  11. a chance to re-enter the name.

  13. You will then be asked the subject of your message.  A maximum of 25
  14. characters is permitted for a subject title.  If you do not enter a
  15. subject, RBBS-PC will assume you want to exit the "E" command.
  16.  
  17. Finally, you will be asked for the message protection.  Help is available
  18. at that point to aid in your selection.

  20. When all information is entered, you will be in control of RBBS-PC's line
  21. editor.  You can type your message, or press [ENTER] on a blank line to
  22. invoke various editing commands.  From there you can also quit or send your
  23. message.

  25. TIPS:
  26. 1.  Simply addressing mail to an individual does not restrict who can read
  27.     the message.  To limit access to the message, you must invoke either
  28.     the (P)assword or p(R)ivate security options.

  30. 2.  You must issue the S)ave command if you want your message to remain on
  31.     the system for others to read.  S)ave or all will be lost.
